My cover will not open or close completely
Possible causes: blocked tracks (use a hose to clean the tracks); rope may be fraying — stop operating and call for service.

The cover may be off the track — check the power. If the power is on, it may have come off the track — call for service.
My cover is out of alignment
It is possible the cover is over-stressed due to an abundance of water on the cover. Be sure to use your cover pump when the pool is closed to prevent this from happening. The cover needs to be adjusted — call for service.

Maintenance

Tips to keep your cover running smoothly

  • Schedule a routine annual service call with your pool cover company — we recommend this be done within 1 to 2 weeks after the pool is opened
  • Check GFCI
  • Keep clean
  • Keep pit drain clear
  • Use the cover pump
  • Do not let animals or children walk or play on the cover
  • Keep vegetation away from all cover equipment
  • For indoor pools with no auto-fill, check for pinholes along the edges of the fabric
  • De-gas at least once every 3 days
  • For hydraulic covers: change the oil per the manufacturer's recommendations
